Mikhail, a brilliant and principled ER doctor, loses his medical license – and with it, his purpose in life – for being “too fair” in an unfair system. As his life unravels, he loses his sobriety, his wife, and his daughter.
But fate throws him a bizarre lifeline: a job offer at a private clinic… except it’s for pets. Thinking it’s his ticket back to medicine, Mikhail dives in, only to discover he’s now treating furry patients, feuding with eccentric colleagues, making new friends and enemies – and maybe finding love again. And when a top health official’s beloved pet becomes his client, it just might be his chance to return to human medicine.
